Get Cornu, Brass Roman Horn
Cornu, Roman trumpet made of brass
The cornu was used as a wind instrument in the Roman Empire. The horn was carried in the Roman army by the so-called cornicen (horn blower) and was used to send orders across the battlefield in the form of horn blasts. Outside of battle, it was used as a ceremonial instrument.
This functional replica is made of brass and fitted with a wooden handle. The horn is delivered disassembled. It consists of a three-piece threaded tube, a mouthpiece, and a handle. Final assembly is required by the customer, but is very simple to do.
