You stand on the shoreline, seagulls screeching, one hand on your prominent belly and the other shielding your face from the harsh sunlight, watching as the red and white sails approach with the promise of exciting new stories and exotic goods. The longing has been tormenting.

And finally you see him. Your stalwart, proud, and magnificent man, standing by the prow, one strong arm raised in salute. His armor was caught in a ray of sunlight shining in the bright midday light.

DETAILS

Very few things offer greater protective qualities than steel when it comes to historical armor. But steel also comes with disadvantages such as weight, inflexibility, and the need for constant maintenance to protect it from rust. However, today, unless you're in a reenactment or on the SCA battlefield, you simply don't need the level of protection that steel offers.

Here at Epic Armory, we'd like to introduce our Light Kit Edition armor. Light Kit armor is made of polyurethane, designed to resemble authentic metal armor. Created with weight, comfort, and utility in mind, Light Kit Edition armor is for those who want to look like they're wearing authentic metal armor while also being comfortable.

To the untrained eye, these polyurethane armors are difficult to distinguish from their metal counterparts. However, they are more comfortable to wear and can be worn for extended periods without discomfort. In fact, the flexible nature of this armor means it can bend to the contours of your body in a way that rigid steel cannot. Each piece weighs a quarter of its steel counterpart, allowing for faster movement with less fatigue. Each piece is hand-painted with a durable acrylic finish and detailed to look as realistic as possible. The maintenance-free finish won't rust like steel and can be worn in all types of weather. The adjustable leather straps and the flexible nature of the armor allow for comfortable wear.

This armor is perfect for a variety of uses such as LARP, cosplay, costume parties or theater.
