The cult status of the 1873 Colt Single Action Army Revolver ( M1873 , also known as the SAA , Peacemaker, or simply the Colt .45 ) is undisputed. Developed on the basis of a patent by Samuel Colt, this cartridge revolver was a robust pistol with a closed frame, a six-shot rotating drum, and a right-handed ejector.

Aside from the Winchester carbine, hardly any firearm better symbolizes the Wild West than the Colt SAA. This true American piece has been produced in a variety of barrel lengths, but its overall appearance hasn't changed since its introduction.

Our beautiful replica of this legendary Western weapon is the original version with a standard 7.5-inch barrel length, also called the cavalry standard , which was primarily issued to officers of the American cavalry. It features synthetic resin handles with a wood-look finish and polished nickel-plated metal elements. Like the original Peacemaker, it has a rotating six-chamber drum, which can be further rotated by opening the cock and can be fitted with the supplied decorative cartridges. The cartridges are fed through a pivoting side-loading hatch.

Our firearm replicas are used exclusively for recreational and decorative purposes. The revolver's mechanism is fully movable, but this replica is not functional or capable of firing.
