The cult status of the Colt Single Action Army Revolver of 1873 ( M1873 , also known as the SAA , Peacemaker, or simply Colt .45 ) is indisputable. Developed on the basis of a patent by Samuel Colt, this cartridge revolver was a robust pistol with a closed frame, a six-shot revolving drum, and a right-handed ejector.

Aside from the Winchester carbine, almost no firearm better symbolizes the Wild West than the Colt SAA. This true piece of Americana has been produced in a variety of barrel lengths, but its overall appearance has remained unchanged since its introduction.

Our beautiful replica of this legendary western weapon is the original version with a standard barrel length of 7.5 inches, also called the cavalry standard , which was issued primarily to officers of the US cavalry. It features handles made of synthetic resin with a wood look and metal elements with a polished nickel finish. Like the original Peacemaker, it has a 6-chamber rotating drum, which can be further rotated by opening the cock and can be fitted with the supplied decorative cartridges. The cartridges are fed through a pivoting side loading hatch.
