Enjoy Bishop Collar, Chain Collar With Leather Straps And Buckles, Arr
Bishop's collar made of riveted aluminum rings
The term bishop's collar refers to a collar made of chainmail that covers the neck, shoulders, and upper chest and back areas. It was particularly popular among mercenaries in the 15th and 16th centuries. The collar is braided in a similar way to a chainmail hood. The name bishop's collar comes from its shape. A bishop's collar was very wide, making it very similar to this chainmail armor.
The ulfberth chain collars are based on historical models. They are serrated along the edge. The neck area is riveted to a leather strip and can be adjusted using straps and authentic brass buckles from the late Middle Ages.
The arr braid: This chain braid consists of round rings with round rivet heads, all of the rings riveted together from aluminium. We call this type of braid arr (English: a luminium round r riveted).
The advantage of this type of braid is of course its relatively low weight. The rings are anodized grey, which gives them a matte steel look.
