Medieval Chainmail Coif - 9mm Round Ring, 18 Gauge, with Rivets (Blackened Mild Steel)

Defend your head and neck with this robust

medieval chainmail cap

Inspired by the armor worn in Europe between the 12th and 14th centuries. Hand-laced with

9mm round rings

in an alternating pattern of

solid, riveted connections

balances protection with flexibility.

Each ring is made up of

18 gauge mild steel

providing sufficient weight and durability for realistic use in battle or training. The

blackened finish

not only enhances its dark, worn appearance, but also offers protection against rust.

Designed to cover the crown, the face line, and the upper shoulders, this coif offers substantial coverage without restricting movement. Whether worn under a helmet or alone, it offers historical accuracy and reliable defense.

. It is a sign of true craftsmanship. They can be easily repaired with

basic pliers and spare rings

just as it was done in medieval times.
