In the Roman army, everyone from low-ranking soldiers to centurions carried their gladius on their shoulder using a sword hanger.
This Roman bandolier is made of approximately 3mm thick cowhide. It has authentic brass fittings based on findings from the Roman fort Zugmantel (Germany).
