Cold steels® scimitar sabre was inspired by richly decorated ancient Persian swords and is a true jewel of the Orient.
Its beautiful blade is sharply curved for devastating cuts, features a wider, deeper shape, and has been beautifully polished. It is crafted from expertly hardened 1065 carbon steel, perfectly balanced, and extremely hand-sharpened. The long, S-shaped guard is decorated with intricate engravings, and the dark Malaysian hardwood handle scales are held in position by three sturdy brass pins. The bulbous pommel has a brass-lined hole through which a rope, cord, or field bandage can be passed.
The scope of delivery includes a sturdy, hand-stitched leather sheath with a steel carrying ring. The mouthpiece and scabbard cap are also made of steel and decorated with engravings.
