Buckle closure made of leather

This beautifully crafted clasp is made from thick buffalo leather (grain leather approx. 2.5 mm) and vegetable tanned. The surface and edges of the leather are polished and given a light coloured finish, giving the leather its characteristic used look .

The clasp consists of two parts which are closed with a metal buckle in the middle. The pre-drilled holes make it easy to attach to a shoulder skin, gambeson or tunic. The two riveted snakes with a Celtic knot design give the bar a high-quality look.
