These leg warmers provide flexible, historically grounded protection for the entire leg and foot.

Used from the early 13th century onward, chausses like these became essential components of a knight's defense, offering unmatched mobility before the dominance of plate armor. Whether worn over padded chausses or combined with sabatons, this leg defense offered the best of flexibility and durability for both cavalry and infantry. Used between the 13th and 15th centuries,

They were vital for protecting warriors' legs before the advent of plate armor. They provided flexible defense against slashes, arrows, and glancing blows in both mounted and dismounted combat. They were worn by both knights and infantry and were often combined with gambesons or padding for comfort. Their design allowed for mobility on the battlefield while strengthening the more vulnerable lower limbs.

Full coverage includes the feet, and each leg gaiter is suspended from a belt, making them practical for integrating into historical kits. These leggings are excellent for armor displays or for equipping medieval enthusiasts and martial artists.
