Its three-layer construction— cotton canvas exterior , polyester filling , and cotton lining interior —provides not only authenticity, but also comfort and mobility during combat, exhibitions, or reenactments.

The traditional lacing system and embroidered eyelet straps on the skirt allow for the attachment of additional protective gear. Additionally, the sleeves can be fitted with leg warmers or plates, making this garment an ideal base for multiple defensive weapon configurations.
