On Alaska's harsh and unforgiving coastline, the Chugach people have relied on fishing and hunting for survival for hundreds of years. With the fortitude of these Alaskan natives in mind, Gil Hibben designed the Hibben Chugach Hunter Knife as a fixed-blade knife. The knife features a razor-sharp, 4.5-inch long blade crafted from 5Cr13 stainless steel with a high-polished finish and aggressive thumb jimping. The black pakkawood handle features decorative mosaic pins and a lanyard hole, and the forend is crafted from solid brass. The large fixed blade slides securely into a black leather belt sheath with a snap-lock handle and topstitching.
