The Swedish forestry knife No. 8 is inspired by the popular No. 10 sfk model and the traditional Scandinavian “brukskniv”. The No. 8 sfk is a powerful and precise outdoor knife, suitable for hunting and classic bushcraft tasks, as well as for general outdoor use.



The approximately 8cm long and 3mm thick blade is the perfect size for finer work such as carving and woodworking, as well as food preparation. The blade is made from Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel, a Swedish knife steel that has been heat-treated and hardened to a Rockwell hardness of 59-60 HRC. This knife steel offers a unique combination of excellent cutting performance, high hardness, good corrosion resistance and easy sharpening. In addition, the razor-sharp blade is extremely robust and stable thanks to the Scandi grind and full-tang construction.
The ergonomically designed green micarta handle provides a secure and comfortable grip.



Its low weight makes it ideal as a belt knife, but also as a spare knife in combination with a larger survival knife or a special hunting or fishing knife.



The knife is delivered with a robust brown vegetable-tanned leather sheath, decorated on the front with the Casström blade emblem. The leather sheath also has a bracer holder in which a bracer with a visually coordinated handle is accommodated.
