The upper helmets that taper to the helmet bell were also called sugarloaf helmets in the Middle Ages due to their resemblance to a sugarloaf. This shape became fashionable in the early 14th century. Our replica is unique in that the visor is foldable.

The helmet is handcrafted from approximately 1.6 mm thick steel. It has a comfortable leather lining and a height-adjustable chin strap.

This helmet is available in a blackened antique finish and a polished finish (item no. 1716413500).
