Norman 'St. Wenceslas' helmet, 1 mm steel

Reconstruction of an early or high medieval nasal helmet from the 10th century. These helmets were worn by Vikings, Normans, and early Crusaders alike, often in conjunction with a chainmail hood.

Made after a find in Prague. The helmet is made of approximately 1 mm thick steel and has an adjustable leather chin strap.
