This helmet is a fully combat-ready replica of an 11th century Norman-type spangenhelm.



It is made of 2 mm thick steel. The four parts of the helmet cap are welded together and also firmly riveted to the overlapping band fittings. This workmanship and the overlapping of the individual fasteners guarantee maximum robustness and great protection during exhibition combat.



The helmet has a nosepiece that is approx. 3.5 mm thick, which is also riveted. The nosepiece has an angled cross-section, which provides additional rigidity and thus allows for a relatively narrow nose bridge in the eye area. This considerably increases the field of vision compared to other nosepiece helmets.



The helmet has a high-quality, adjustable, padded insert. The two chin straps made of cowhide with brass buckles are also closed with rivets.
