Nasal helmet made of steel with Celtic motifs, aged finish

The conical nasal helmet we offer here is made of 1.2 mm steel and has an antique finish to simulate a dark patina. The chin strap, made of 3 mm thick brown leather, is fitted with a brass buckle. The zoomorphic eyebrows and nose are made of brass with an antique finish and are attached to the base of the helmet with round rivets. The interior has a leather inlay.

This helmet is not an authentic reproduction of a historical original, but rather a beautiful fantasy piece of Celtic, Norse, and Norman inspiration. While its overall shape (conical helmet bell and nose piece) is highly reminiscent of Norman helmets from the early and early Middle Ages, the characteristic animal-shaped eyebrows and nose are designed after Celtic or Norse models. In particular, snakes or dragons with knotted patterns are a recurring motif in Celtic and Norse/Viking art.

This wearable helmet is an ideal accessory for LARP, costume, stage, or TV/film, and will complete your transformation into a proud swordsman or archer. Of course, it's also an excellent decorative addition to any helmet collector's treasure trove.
