This historically accurate, high-quality reproduction of the steel helmet worn by German Air Force paratroopers during World War II is made of 1.2 mm steel. The hood surface has been painted with a custom tri-color Normandy camouflage pattern (rautarn, khaki, green, and red) and artificially aged to create an authentic, worn appearance. The thin, artificially rusted iron wire surrounding the Wehrmacht helmet makes it look even more authentic and offers additional camouflage options by attaching leaves or branches.

Inside is a durable leather inner helmet shell with an aluminum band or ring. Between the leather and the helmet shell is 1 cm thick impact-absorbing foam padding. The special design and gray color of the chin strap are also based on the original German paratrooper helmet strap from World War II. It is equipped with an adjustable buckle and snap closure.
