Warrior helmet
DescriptionYou're laughing too loudly. You realize it must be scaring your enemy, because no one wants to face you on the front lines anymore. They think you're crazy. Maybe you are, because the adrenaline of being in battle has left you drunk with euphoria.
If no one comes to you, it's time to fight them! A poor soldier attacks you desperately, and you feel the blow of his sword against your warrior's helmet, but it barely makes a scratch. You see the terror in his eyes as your laughter fills the field and you unleash the force of your axe upon him.
You are Raynor Ironshood. Let them fear you. Let everyone fear you.
DETAILS
The Epic Armory Warrior Helm is a Spangenhelm made of thick, full-grain leather that protects the head, the back of the neck, and the front of the face. Four leather plates are sewn together to form this skullcap, reinforced by heavy leather straps that form a cross at the apex of the skull. To add additional structure, a heavy leather strap is secured around the brim and attached to an elongated, diamond-shaped nose guard that protects the center of the face.
The Warrior Helmet also features a stiff leather neck guard to protect against attacks and soft split leather padding on the inside. Adorned with a wing-shaped decoration above the eyes, this helmet is designed to match most other Epic Armoury armor and apparel, and with its durable leather stitching, it's designed to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather care.
Available in sizes X-small and medium.

Maintenance
Natural leather products are very durable, but they require regular maintenance with leather care products to stay supple and increase their lifespan. Make sure your leather products stay dry when stored. Let wet leather dry naturally before treating it. If it gets wet and dries frequently, increase the frequency of maintenance.
Cleaning
Clean by removing dirt with a stiff brush, then gently rub leather soap with a clean, damp cloth until the leather looks clean. Remove the soap with a separate damp cloth to clean any soap residue, and then use a dry cloth to wipe away any remaining water from the leather.
Conditioning
You should always condition leather after cleaning it, as the soap will have removed some of its natural oils. Treat the leather with mink oil, olive oil, or beeswax using a clean cloth, gently rubbing a small amount of oil or wax into the leather in circles. Allow the leather to soak in the oil before wiping it with a final clean cloth to remove excess residue.
