Defending those unable to fend for themselves is the Palace Guard's way. Epic Armory's polyurethane Palace Guard helmet has an iconic Barbuta look but is much lighter than its steel counterpart. Its pointed top and curved silhouette contours the warrior's face, giving it a majestic appearance. This LARP helmet is perfect for embarking on long campaigns, regardless of the weather. This maintenance-free high fantasy helmet works well with various character styles and doubles as head protection when defending the city against evil.

Its armor is made of a polyurethane material that is very strong and will hold its shape if properly cared for.
Please note that although the armor is strong, it is designed to be used for costume purposes only and should not be used or relied upon for protection!
Do not leave it in the sun for long periods of time, as the heat can make the polyurethane malleable to the touch.
CLEANING
Your item has been professionally finished with durable paint and polish. Inevitably, as with any painted surface, it will scratch and wear over time.
For surface dirt, we recommend washing with warm soapy water and a soft cloth, avoiding leather straps.
DO NOT use solvent-based cleaners or insect sprays on or near the armor.
Leather straps can be polished with regular shoe polish, but avoid getting the polish on the surface of the armor.
STORAGE
Chest and back plates should be attached to each other and, ideally, hung from a hanger or similar suspension system. Shoulder pads are also best stored on hangers.
Ideally, helmets should be placed on a stand so that any protruding elements, such as the nosepieces and earmuffs, are free. We have helmet stands available in our online store if needed.
We recommend tying the leg guards and straps around something cylindrical when not in use; drainpipes and beverage bottles, for example, could be used.
DO NOT store the armor on or near a heat source, as this may cause warping.
