It's a well-designed, functional helmet with a butted chainmail camail (10mm rings of 16-gauge mild steel wire). Accessories such as wooden helmet stands and those worn by the model are not included.

This helmet is handcrafted from 16-gauge mild steel with a polished finish. The height is approximately 10 inches (without the chain mail), the interior depth from front to back at eye level is approximately 9.5 inches (24.4 cm), the interior width at ear level is approximately 8.5 inches (21.4 cm), and the eye openings measure approximately 3.8 inches (9.8 cm) long (diagonally) and approximately 1.8 inches (4.7 cm) wide.

This helmet has an inner circumference of 68 cm (before the leather liner is attached) and fits most head circumferences between 58 cm and 61 cm, depending on the wearer's head shape. If you wish to wear an additional padded cap, please measure your head circumference while wearing it. (The adjustable genuine leather liner already attached inside the helmet is usually sufficient for most adult male heads.) It weighs approximately 3 kg and 510 grams.

Note: This product is carefully coated with a layer of oil when packaged to act as a temporary (protective) layer against corrosion (rust), which can be easily cleaned with any oil remover or even a dry cloth.
