English longbowmen were probably the most feared long-range combat troops of the late Middle Ages. Here we offer a highly authentic replica of a typical 15th-century archer's helmet, a period that was not entirely peaceful for Great Britain. These helmets were used in the Hundred Years' War and later in the Wars of the Roses (1455–1485).
< br>This helmet is made of 1.6 mm thick steel and is therefore partially suitable for wrestling shows. It has an adjustable leather inlet, which is riveted to the helmet. The helmet is also equipped with a leather chin strap and a brass buckle.
