German M42 steel helmet - reproduction

The German M42 steel helmet replaced the M35 and M40 models from mid-1942. The most striking difference from its predecessors was that the brim was no longer beaded, but only had perforated and folded ventilation holes tapered outwards, which were riveted on the M35. The reproduction offered here represents the last model before the end of World War II. The insert, like the chin strap, is made of leather and can be individually adapted to the wearer.
