Crusader helmet, Templar helmet, ca. 1200, 1.6 mm steel

Replica of a crusader helmet, as worn by the Knights Templar in the late 12th century. A flat-topped helmet with an elongated front plate. A very similar helmet is depicted in the Maciejowski Bible .

The helmet is made of 1.6 mm thick steel and equipped with an adjustable leather inlet.
