The model for this helmet replica is suitable for display combat and is from the year 1983. The so-called Coppergate helmet was found in York, England. It dates back to the 8th century and is, as one of the few finds of Anglo-Saxon helmets, of great archaeological importance. The helmet has decorative brass applications with engravings and has a chain mount made of unriveted galvanised rings.

The helmet has a comfortable leather inlay with a chin strap.
