The model for this combat-ready replica helmet is one found near York, England, in 1983, the so-called Coppergate helmet. It dates back to the 8th century and, as one of the few Anglo-Saxon helmet finds, is of great archaeological importance.
The helmet has decorative brass applications with engravings and has a chain mount made of riveted round rings.
Made exclusively for battle-merchant.
The helmet has a comfortable leather inlay with chin strap.
