The model for this replica helmet, suitable for combat, is one found near York, England, in 1983, the so-called Coppergate helmet. It dates back to the 8th century and is, as one of the few finds of an Anglo-Saxon helmet, of great archaeological importance.

The helmet has decorative brass applications with engravings and has a chain support made of riveted round rings.

Made exclusively for battle-merchant.

The helmet has a comfortable leather inlay with chin strap.
