Having won over these four extraordinary singers for a joint production
It is something very special. They unearthed gems from the great treasure trove of Hälsingland melodies and, in order to select the pieces, the four of them intensively examined old records and archive recordings. In particular, the interpretations of Karin Grelson, Agnes Gårder and Katarina Lundstedt left a strong impression.

They performed all of this in their own style, with a traditional and modern orientation. - as the title of the CD suggests, the CD contains an exciting repertoire: among other things: film music and electronic sounds intertwined with Hälsingland melodies. An equally unusual combination can only be found in old songbooks, where hits are placed alongside psalms, medieval ballads, drinking songs and moral songs.
