Having won these four extraordinary singers for a joint production
It's something very special. They unearthed gems from Hälsingland's vast treasure trove of melodies, and to select the pieces, the four intensively examined old records and archival recordings. In particular, the performances of Karin Grel Ison, Agnes Gårder, and Katarina Lundstedt left a deep impression.

They performed all of this in their own style, with a traditional and modern orientation. As the CD title suggests, the CD contains a fascinating repertoire: among other things, film music and electronic sounds intertwined with Hälsingland melodies. An equally unusual combination can only be found in old songbooks, where hits sit alongside psalms, medieval ballads, drinking songs, and moral songs.
