Most, if not all, replaceable-blade knives suffer from the same flaws. Their blades are thin, narrow, brittle, and fragile, and when folded, their locking mechanisms are extremely weak.

The Cold Steels® Click-n-Cut pocket knife, on the other hand, has interchangeable 1.5 mm wide blades and also has a powerful locking mechanism.

Like Cold Steel® Click-n-Cut knives, it includes elements of the Tri-Ad® locking system for first-class safety. The scope of delivery includes a drop-point blade and a serrated utility blade. Both blades can be resharpened with little effort or easily disposed of and replaced. Inserting or changing a blade is easy. With the blade open, simply press the locking bar, fold the blade down about 70°, and slide it out. Click in a new blade, and the knife is ready to use again.
