Tent Tent - Roof - 6x12 m
DescriptionDID IT GO THROUGH THE ROOF?
It was always the same. The envoy sighed as he paid the merchant and had his men carry the new canvas roof for his main trading tent. They all maintained stern expressions, as if once again hearing an oft-told joke. Either it was some wizard who accidentally caused a whirlwind to swirl upward, a manipulative gnome who demonstrated another disastrous invention, or an adventurous warrior who demonstrated perfect lack of control with a newly acquired magic spear. In the end, the result was always the same: a ruined patch of roof and another visit to the merchant. The townspeople gave him curious glances as they almost ceremoniously left the town square. One day, he swore, HE would be the one to break through the roof!
If unfortunate events force you to purchase a new roof for your tent, or you simply want another color option, look no further! This roof piece is designed to fit the 6x12m Tent with our easy-to-use attachment hook system and specially designed center tent poles . The fabric is composed of 100% heavy-duty cotton (425 g/m²), weather-resistant with paraffin wax for added durability. Please note that pegs and poles are sold separately. With proper maintenance, the sidewalls of these tents will keep you and your group protected for many seasons of adventure. Just be careful not to attract hungry wyverns!

Maintenance
Our tents and awnings are treated to be water-repellent and mold-resistant, but mold is a long-standing problem in tents, so preventative measures are essential, although we cannot guarantee complete control. Below are some guidelines for preventing mold:
-
Use a groundsheet: We recommend using a groundsheet under your tent to reduce moisture rising from the ground.
Make sure the tent is set up properly so that water drains easily from the fabric and the tent is protected from leaks and mold growth.
Make sure the tent is completely dry before storing it, as damp fabrics encourage mold growth.
If the tent is not completely dry before storage, it may develop a musty odor and compromise the water-repellent coatings.
Do not store the tent in hot or humid places such as a basement.
Avoid cooking inside the tent, as this can cause mold to form on the fabric.
Don't wash dishes inside the tent, as dishwater is one of the fabric's biggest enemies.
Pitch your tent on a dry, clear day.
Take special care in high humidity climates to avoid mold.
-
Do not hang a dishcloth over a bar inside the tent, as soap residue can damage the fabric.
Ventilate the tent, especially when not in use.
Avoid pitching your tent under trees, as bird droppings and tree debris after rain can cause mold growth.
Regular Cleaning: Encourage regular cleaning of the tent with mild soap and cold water to remove dirt and organic materials, which can promote mold growth.
Check for damage: Periodically check for signs of wear or damage. Small rips or tears can allow moisture to penetrate, which can lead to mold growth.
