Roman military canteen

This very authentic replica of a Roman legionary canteen was called a laguncula in ancient Rome. These canteens were once made of iron and brass. Today, these materials are classified under food law as unsuitable for drinking vessels. Therefore, we offer them expressly only as decorative elements or accessories.

The canteens are filled with beeswax from the inside. However, rust can occasionally form on the inside.
