The Camillus NS-8 (Jared Ogden and Grady Powell) measures 8 inches (20.3 cm) when unfolded. The 3.3-inch (8.3 cm) drop-point blade, made from high-quality AUS-8 steel, has a non-stick coating and is also refined with a special titanium carbonitride coating. This ensures corrosion resistance and exceptional hardness.

The military-style one-handed knife can be quickly opened using a finger flap, thumb studs on both sides, and a ball-bearing opening system, and is secured with a liner lock.
The handle is made of GFN (glass-fiber-reinforced nylon). It has an ergonomic shape and offers a secure, firm grip thanks to its textured surface.

With the steel belt clip or lanyard loop at the end of the handle, the military knife can be attached to a belt, clothing, or backpack, for example, during hunting or survival work. The belt clip can be mounted on either side. The handle is also equipped with a sturdy steel pommel.
