The Camillus Mountaineer™ outdoor and survival knife measures 23 cm in length. The 10.5 cm long black blade is made of high-quality AUS-8 steel. AUS-8 is one of the hardest, toughest, and most rust-resistant knife alloys. It also offers an exceptional balance of toughness, edge sharpness, and corrosion resistance. The hollow-ground drop-point blade with partial serration is secured with a full-tang.

The ergonomic, non-slip handle with a finger recess and thumb rest is made of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer, a type of rubber) with elegant root wood inlays and impresses with its unusual design. It requires no special maintenance, is wear-resistant, impact-resistant, and very comfortable to hold. The travel knife comes with a durable nylon sheath. It is extremely durable and can be attached to a belt thanks to the included belt loops.
