The Camillus Mountaineer™ outdoor and survival knife measures 23 cm in length overall. The 10.5 cm long black blade is made of high-grade AUS-8 steel. AUS-8 is one of the hardest, strongest and most rust-resistant knife alloys. It also offers an exceptional balance of hardness, edge sharpness and corrosion resistance. The hollow-ground drop-point blade with partial serration is secured with a continuous tang.


The ergonomic, non-slip handle with finger recess and thumb rest is made of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer, a type of rubber) with elegant wood root inlays and impresses with its unusual design. It does not require any special care, is wear-resistant, shock-resistant and very comfortable to hold. The travel knife is delivered with a robust nylon sheath. It is extremely durable and can be attached to the belt thanks to the attached belt loops.
