The Camillus HT-8.5 outdoor and survival knife measures 21.6 cm in length overall. The 5.7 cm long black blade is made from high quality Aus-8 steel. Aus-8 is one of the hardest, strongest and most rust-resistant knife alloys. It also offers an exceptional balance of hardness, edge sharpness and corrosion resistance. The full tang, drop point blade has multiple thumb rests and a groove on both sides, which also continues into the handle.


The handle and the wavy back of the blade also offer several thumb rests to allow for optimal power transfer to the blade as needed. The ergonomic, non-slip handle is made of roughened GFN (glass fiber reinforced nylon) and rubber-like TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) surfaces with finger recesses, finger protection and lanyard hole fits perfectly in the hand. The survival knife is delivered with a durable nylon sheath. It is extremely durable and can be attached to the belt thanks to the attached belt loop.
