The Camillus CK-9.5 outdoor and survival knife measures 24.1 cm in length. The 12.1 cm long blade, made of high-quality 1095 carbon steel, is powder-coated. Carbon steel blades are extremely robust and unbreakable, and can withstand very heavy loads without breaking. The steel is also extremely easy to sharpen. The sturdy blade is fixed and 6.5 mm thick. The continuous tang at the end of the handle has a lanyard hole.

The non-slip handle is made of micarta and guarantees an excellent grip even when wet. The material is also resistant to high temperature fluctuations and high humidity.
