The Camillus BT-8.5 fixed hunting knife fits perfectly in the hand thanks to its ergonomic handle made of rough surfaces made of GFN (glass-fiber reinforced nylon) and rubber-like TPE (thermoplastic elastomer). This also fits into the existing finger recesses, and there's also a lanyard hole at the end of the handle. The 8.9 cm long drop-point blade made of AUS-8 steel has been treated with a special titanium carbonitride finish for extra hardness and corrosion resistance and features a groove on both sides, which also continues into the handle.

The handle and wavy back of the blade also offer several thumb rest surfaces to allow optimal power transfer to the blade as required.

The Camillus BT-8.5 is an ideal hunting tool for amateur and professional hunters, but it can also be used as a survival knife for camping, climbing, or hiking. A ballistic nylon sheath is also included to safely carry the knife.
