The Camillus BT-8.5 fixed hunting knife lies perfectly in the hand thanks to its ergonomic handle made of roughened surfaces made of GFN (glass-fibre reinforced nylon) and rubber-like TPE (thermoplastic elastomer). This is also supported by the existing finger recesses and there is also a lanyard hole at the end of the handle. The 8.9 cm long drop-point blade made of AUS-8 steel has been treated with a special titanium carbonitride finish for extra hardness and corrosion resistance and has a groove on both sides, which also continues into the handle.


The handle and wavy back of the blade also offer multiple thumb rests to allow for optimal transfer of power to the blade as required.


The Camillus BT-8.5 is an ideal hunting tool for amateur and professional hunters, but can also be used as a survival knife when camping, climbing or hiking. A sheath made of ballistic nylon is also included in which the knife can be safely transported.
