Give away Btw Chain Heaters, Spring Steel, 8mm, Untreated
By the way, chain heaters, made of spring steel, 8 mm, untreated
- Suitable for exhibition fights -
Chain mail, also called chausses, served as leg protection in the late Middle Ages. Plate pieces were often worn over them, so that chain mail armour was only intended to protect the bare areas. Unlike relatively rigid plate armour, chain mail is much more mobile and adapts much better to the shape of the body.
The chain mailles from ulfberth® are delivered in pairs. They are now available in almost all types of braids. They can be attached individually, with wire, nests or leather cords and/or with leather straps. However, these are not included in the scope of delivery. Another attachment option is to sew them onto existing (leather) trousers.
The chain link by the way: This unriveted chain link ring link is made of high-quality spring steel. Due to its good price-performance ratio, it is ideal for beginners who still value good protection and solid quality. The braid is 4 in 1. We call this type of braid btw (english = b utted t ensile w ire). The rings are untreated, so they can rust, but they give the braid an authentic look.
