Enjoy Bmsb Chain Warmers, Burnished, 8mm Diameter
Blackened chain heaters, 8 mm ID
Chainmail, also called chausses , served as leg protection in the late Middle Ages. Pieces of plate were often worn over them, so that chainmail armor was only intended to protect the bare areas. Unlike relatively rigid plate armor, chainmail is much more flexible and adapts much better to the shape of the body.
These chain leg warmers are delivered in pairs. They are now available in almost all types of braid. They can be attached individually, with wire, nests, or leather cords and/or with leather straps. However, these are not included in the scope of delivery. Another option is to sew them onto existing (leather) trousers.
Made with burnished steel rings, 1.6 mm thick and unriveted.
The price includes the chain guard for both legs.
