Jack chains made of steel, pair, plate arm guards

This plate arm guard ( jack chains ) is made of 1mm thick polished steel, has rounded edges and is therefore safe for larp weapons. It consists of several individual parts connected by rings and is attached with cords to the sleeves of, for example, a gambeson. This means that you are protected against sword blows or other blows during a larp battle, even without heavy armour on your arms.

Arm plates were an important part of the armour of late medieval infantry soldiers, who were usually not protected by full plate armour, but instead wore a padded doublet (the so-called gambeson). To protect the relatively unprotected areas of the arms from sword blows, these plates were attached to the sleeves of the padded jacket.

We recommend drying all armor items for storage and applying a thin layer of oil during storage to prevent rust. Remove rust spots with fine steel wool and treat with oil. To ensure a long life, leather armor pieces should be periodically treated with leather care products.
