Bunnahabhain is the northernmost whisky distillery on the Scottish island of Islay. It was built in 1881 in a very remote location – until the road was completed in the 1960s, all freight traffic was brought to the town and from the distillery by sea – yet it is predestined for its excellent, clean water and high-quality peat. The distillery uses water from an outflow from the nearby Loch Staoisha, whose name has now become synonymous with whisky. Bunnahabhain is known for its relatively sweet, nutty and sometimes very peaty single malt whiskies. So we chose a heavily peated eight-year-old Staoisha for our debut of exclusive single cask bottlings under the Einherjer Edition label.



Whisky is a beer that originates from distillation, so it is no surprise that many brewers are also passionate about the distilled juice of barley. In the Einherjer Edition, the brewers of the Wacken Brewery have put together an excellent selection of premium single malts bottled exclusively for the Wacken Brewery.

Earthy and herbaceous notes with the presence of peat smoke, sweet malt tones and vanilla

Intense, with strong peat, salted caramel and green apples
