Whispered rumors swirled through the castle corridors and the Citadel's narrow passages about a usurper. The wily lady-in-waiting you slept with last night seemed more than enthusiastic, gossiping about how unknown forces within the court were plotting against the old king and his only son. "Who would want that sorry excuse for an heir close to the throne, once the old man is dead?" she had gossiped with unabashed excitement.

However, gossip is not part of your duties. Your primary task is to protect your king's life at all times; always alert and armed. You would gladly give your life for this man who has been appointed to rule by the gods. Just as you put on your helmet, you hear loud, agitated voices outside in the courtyard...

Very few things offer greater protective qualities than steel when it comes to historical armor. But steel also comes with disadvantages such as weight, inflexibility, and the need for constant maintenance to protect it from rust. However, today, unless you're in a reenactment or on the SCA battlefield, you simply don't need the level of protection that steel offers.

Here at Epic Armory, we'd like to introduce our Light Kit Edition armor. Light Kit armor is made of polyurethane, designed to resemble authentic metal armor. Created with weight, comfort, and utility in mind, Light Kit Edition armor is for those who want to look like they're wearing authentic metal armor while also being comfortable.

To the untrained eye, these polyurethane armors are difficult to distinguish from their metal counterparts. However, they are more comfortable to wear and can be worn for extended periods without discomfort. In fact, the flexible nature of this armor means it can bend to the contours of your body in a way that rigid steel cannot. Each piece typically weighs a quarter of its steel counterpart, allowing for faster movement with less fatigue. Each piece is hand-painted with a durable acrylic finish and detailed to look as realistic as possible. The maintenance-free finish will not rust like steel and can be worn in all types of weather. The adjustable leather straps and the flexible nature of the armor allow for comfortable wear. The Knightly Light Kit shoulder pads are inspired by medieval armor and brave knights.

This armor is perfect for a variety of uses such as LARP, cosplay, costume parties or theater.
