This portable and mobile replica of a late medieval plate armour for weapons is based on a 15th century German original (ca. 1465). It is made of 1.5 mm steel and blackened on the inside for better protection against corrosion. It protects the forearms, elbows and lower arms.



The arm guard consists of a very pointed elbow piece, a forearm tube that can be easily opened with hinges and a forearm half tube that is closed with rivets (also simply pushed in). All three elements are connected to each other by sturdy leather straps riveted on the inside, which ensure the necessary mobility. On the upper edge of the arm guard there are two holes for attaching to a shoulder armour (so-called armpit) or a gambeson (straps with brass tips are included in the scope of delivery).



These articulated arm guards are equally suitable for historical reenactment, larp and costuming. They are ideal for late medieval and renaissance settings and will make your interpretation of a proud knight perfect!



It's a pair, so there is protection for both arms.

To ensure the armor is right for you, remember to take your measurements with the gambeson (and/or any other garments or chains you plan to wear underneath).



The steel used here is not stainless and may show slight signs of corrosion. We recommend maintaining the plate armour regularly, for example with ballistol, a universal oil ideal for preserving steel products.
