Cold Steels® Wild West Bowie , a memorable American classic, was designed in the style of the imposing swords from iconic western series and films.

The long, wide blade, made of 1090 carbon steel, is front-heavy and saber-ground. A sharpened back edge ensures maximum cutting, slicing, and penetrating power.

The handle has a classic shape. The Malaysian sal wood handle scales are secured to the blade tang with brass screws. The distinctive S-shaped guard protects the fingers and offers the user improved defensive options.

Delivery includes a traditional sheath made of black leather with a movable brass belt loop and leather leg straps.

1090 carbon steel

1090 carbon steel is an excellent choice for larger fixed blades. It sharpens easily and holds that edge, yet is still tough enough to withstand the most brutal stress tests. In short: a good all-purpose carbon steel that remains very durable even with heavy use.
