A completely handmade, reversible half boot based on a Schleswig find.


This shoe displays many details of a historically correct half boot from the period 1000-1250 AD. The stitching at the back of the foot, the triple toggle closure, and the round heel make this shoe an adornment to any contemporary outfit.

Please note:

The durability of shoes based on historical patterns may not meet modern requirements! They are quite sensitive to asphalt, concrete blocks, and gravel. These floor coverings didn't exist in the Middle Ages! Therefore, we recommend using slippers, insoles if necessary, or having them fitted with rubber soles at your shoe repair shop of choice.
