Viking boots from the early Middle Ages, brown
The design of the calf-high boots offered here is based on archaeological finds in York (the first Jorvik /em>) and Haithabu ( Hedeby ). These leather boots can be attributed to the 9th and 10th centuries, so they can definitely be described as Viking boots.
The boots are made of high-quality buffalo leather and have a nailed leather sole. The side buttons have a variable length so that the boot can be adjusted to the individual calf circumference.
Comfort at the instep and ankle is greatly increased by making 1-3cm long cuts in the centre under the flaps, depending on the fit required.

Attention:
The robustness of shoes based on historical patterns may not meet modern requirements! They are quite sensitive to asphalt, concrete blocks and gravel. These floor coverings did not exist in the Middle Ages! We therefore recommend using trippes, if necessary insoles or equipping them with rubber soles from the shoemaker of your choice. We would also like to point out that leather is a natural product and that colour and/or grain variations are quite common. Therefore, no two pairs of these leather shoes are the same and the images above are for exemplary purposes only.
