This high-quality early medieval pentagon-shaped bag is made of 2 mm thick genuine leather. All edges are beautifully crimped with a sturdy, flat leather cord. The beading serves as decoration and reinforcement at the same time. The front flap is equipped with a toggle closure (button with loop) and is engraved with a Celtic cross or Pictish cross motif. On the back there is a sewn-in loop of approx. 4 cm width for secure wearing on the belt (maximum belt width 3.5 cm).
