Whether you're a common thief or an honorable samurai, Epic Armoury's Beruto is the perfect belt for your complete LARP ensemble. This lightweight belt is made from two connected pieces of brown leather secured to a red textured cotton underlay. The back features an intricate spacer for added customization and a perfect fit, and is secured in place at the front by a rounded brass belt buckle with a beautiful samurai-inspired pattern.
Fully compatible with other Epic Armoury Asian-style combat garments, the Beruto is an excellent base for almost any warrior-inspired LARP character you wish to create.
HISTORY
- 'Beruto' means belt in Japanese
- Originally, martial arts practitioners wore a white or black belt while training in a kimono. Colored belts used to indicate rank appeared much later and were initially introduced in judo in the early 1900s.

Maintenance
Natural leather products are very durable but require regular maintenance with leather care products to maintain suppleness and extend their lifespan. Make sure your leather products stay dry when stored. Let wet leather dry naturally before treating it. If it frequently gets wet and dries, increase the frequency of maintenance.
CLEANING
Clean by removing dirt with a stiff brush, then gently rub leather soap with a clean, damp cloth until the leather looks clean. Remove the soap with a separate damp cloth to clean any soap residue, and then use a dry cloth to wipe away any remaining water from the leather.
CONDITIONING
You should always condition leather after cleaning it, as the soap will have removed some of its natural oils. Treat the leather with mink oil, olive oil, or beeswax using a clean cloth, gently rubbing a small amount of oil or wax into the leather in circles. Let the leather soak in the oil before wiping it with a final clean cloth to remove excess residue.
