Brutal chic! The new brand Berserk Blades offers you blades from the past, but reinterpreted in a fresh and free way with a modern design and high-quality materials. We begin our journey into the past with a series of knives that, judging by the shape of the blade, could have originated in the Viking Age.
It starts with a small neck knife called a rak. It has a sax (seax) blade that also passes for a sheepsfoot blade due to its shape and has the Berserk Blades logo deeply etched into the ricasso. Its high, flat grind promises excellent cutting properties, making it ready for any task.
The small, slightly angled full-tang knife impresses with its elegant finger grip and a very comfortable hand position, even for larger hands. The small box cutter performs its everyday tasks with skill and courage. To provide the necessary grip during use, the jimping on the back of the blade supports the cutting movements.
This 3-finger knife features 3D-milled handle scales made of shot-peened black acrylic, a rare material found in the knife world. It's sturdy, weather-resistant, and gives the knife a sleek, modern touch. To extend the handle, the neck knife has an eyelet on the underside of the handle for attaching a lanyard.
The rak is stored in an indestructible kydex sheath with a comfortable thumb ramp. Eyelets allow, for example, to attach Scout Carry loops to your belt, which can be purchased separately. If desired, you can also mount a narrow multi-clip or simply wear the rak around your neck, hidden under clothing, using the black link chain included.
To keep the blade as clean as possible, we deliberately decided not to laser-mark the type of steel used. The blade is made of 9Cr18Mov steel, which is the same solid and proven 440C stainless steel and guarantees long edge retention and is easy to resharpen.
The Rak is available in two versions: a choice of pitch-black with a PVD-coated blade and screws, or a stonewashed blade. Included in the delivery is a storage case, a necklace, and a Berserk Blades sticker.
