Brown Bess is the popular name for the flintlock infantry musket that served the British Army from about 1722 until the end of the Napoleonic Wars. These muskets often featured a bayonet for close combat, which was comparable in length to short swords.
This authentic replica of the Brown Bess bayonet is made of steel. The included sheath is leather and has a fabric strap.
A beautiful addition to any collection and an essential accessory for the reenactor of this period.
To fit this bayonet to your musket/rifle, modifications to the locking device may be required by a skilled locksmith/gunsmith.
