Brown bess is the popular name for the flintlock infantry musket that served the British Army from about 1722 until the end of the Napoleonic Wars. A bayonet was often used on these muskets for close combat, which was comparable in length to short swords.



This authentic replica of the Brown Bess bayonet is made of steel. The included sheath is made of leather and has a fabric strap.



A beautiful addition to any collection and an essential accessory for the reenactor of this period.



To attach this bayonet to your musket/rifle, modifications to the locking device may need to be made by a skilled locksmith/gunsmith.
