The batonata chopper is a traditional tool used for splitting wood. Whether making shingles for roofs or splitting wood for campfires, this tool is a perfect replacement for a small axe. A hickory wood handle and braided wrap on top protect the 5mm thick blade handle. The full tang version has a 25cm long blade and is sharpened on both sides. This version of the classic comes with a full grain leather sheath.
