They're inspired by original pieces made from real blackthorn, but they've been so ingeniously modified that they not only look like they're straight from the wild, but they even surpass anything Mother Nature could produce. The newest member of the Blackthorn family, inspired by an oversized rod from Cold Steels® private collection. Inspired by President Lynn C. Thompson, it is the largest stick Cold Steels® ever made! The Blackthorn rod (overall length approx. 1.5 m) is the result of years of expensive research and development in injection molding technology and the production of impact-resistant polymers. With its rustic wooden frame, protruding "slashed spines," and polished wood-look pommel, this oversized trekking pole will enrich any collection and is sure to be a conversation piece.
