The author:

Bastian Zach was born in Leoben in 1973 and spent his youth in Salzburg. He lives and works as a freelance writer and screenwriter in Vienna. In 2020, his first crime film “Donaumelodien – Praterblut” was nominated for the Leo Perutz Award.

Bastian Zach has been a metal fan for over 35 years. Entry level drugs were Accept, Scorpions and Iron Maiden, quickly followed by a harder pace with Nuclear Assault and Slayer. This passion also took him all over Europe, from Monsters of Rock in Donnington to Bang Your Head, Earthshaker Festival and several times to W:O:A, to name the big ones. Keeping It True is also not left unmentioned here.

His love for music inspired him to create this metal crime thriller.
